Finnfund is a Finnish development financier and impact investor. We build a sustainable future and generate lasting impact by investing in businesses that solve global development challenges. We invest 200–250 million euros in 20–30 companies in developing countries each year. Our focus sectors include renewable energy, sustainable forestry, sustainable agriculture, financial institutions, and digital infrastructure and solutions. Today Finnfund’s investments and commitments total about 1.070 billion euros, half of them in Africa. The company has 90 employees.
We are now looking for a
Senior Treasury Analyst (Finance and Risk Management)
for a full-time, permanent position in Helsinki.
What you will be doing
As a Senior Treasury Analyst (Finance and Risk Management), you will be responsible for Finnfund’s treasury operations i.e., currency and interest hedging, short- and long-term funding, and necessary reporting. You will also manage Finnfund’s banking relationships, both domestic and international. This position includes close collaboration with our Investment Managers to secure that investment agreements are aligned with treasury transactions.
Who we are looking for
An ideal candidate for this position has strong expertise in treasury products and knowledge of applying them in practice. A successful candidate is efficient, comfortable with working in a changing environment, and willing to develop their area of responsibility. You have experience from working in a similar kind of position in the financial sector. A deep understanding of different investment instruments is considered an asset. The position requires a team player mentality and flexibility. We are looking for a committed employee who wants to do meaningful work.
Fluent English and Finnish are necessary to be successful in this position.
